Pabineau and Eel River Bar work on Belledune energy projects

Event Registry reported that Eel River Bar and Pabineau First Nation are working with private-sector partners and the Port of Belledune on energy projects that are underway or under consideration.

A wood pellet plant will be developed by Pabineau, Eel River Bar, Arbec Forest Products and Airex Energy, according to Event Registry.

The Belledune green energy hub could also include a battery plant and a small nuclear reactor, potentially followed by a plant that builds and exports small modular reactors.

The Port of Belledune decided to retain its industrial role while adopting a green focus that also suited its Indigenous partners, Event Registry reported.

Maruti Suzuki commissioned a 300 kW green hydrogen electrolyzer pilot at its Manesar facility, according to Event Registry.

Fervo Energy reaches first power at Cape Station

Fervo Energy announced first power at its flagship Cape Station project in Beaver County, Utah.
