Oracle Secures Point Beach Nuclear Output for Wisconsin AI Campus
Oracle will take between 10% and 20% of output from Wisconsin's Point Beach Nuclear Plant, locking in 125 to 250 MW to power an AI data center campus, according to Foreign Policy Journal.
The contracted power supports the Lighthouse Campus, a planned USD 15 billion AI data center in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Oracle, OpenAI and Vantage Data Centers are jointly developing the site.
The campus is designed to house up to 1 GW of AI capacity inside a 1.3 GW total electrical footprint, with completion set for 2028, Foreign Policy Journal reported.
