Italy passes legal framework for return to nuclear power
Event Registry reported that Italy's parliament passed legislation establishing a legal framework for the country's return to nuclear power generation.
The law does not immediately authorize construction of new nuclear plants, and the government has 12 months from its entry into force to adopt implementing decrees, according to Event Registry.
